Ship Fendering Arrangement

• Cylindrical profile with chain recesses for bow and stern protection. • “W” style fender for applications that require a large curved hull area to be protected. • Block fender for hard wearing applications where replacement may be more frequent. • Square and “D” shaped profiles for side protection of vessels

The fendering is able to be supplied cut to length and drilled as required so that minimum onsite work is required. A wide variety of sizes are available in all the profiles shown.

Cylindrical Fender

Cylindrical Bow & Stern Fender

Cylindrical Bow & Stern Fenders are commonly used on ocean going tugs and where ignificant movement occurs between the tug and ship. This fender is commonly used in conjunction with Block or M-Fender to accommodate vessels with large bow flare.

Special features of the Cylindrical Bow and Stern Fender include tapered ends, protective end plates and groove to accommodate circumferential securing chains or straps.

Curve Radius

Cylindrical Fenders are produce in straight lengths but can be pulled around radiused hull provided that the inside radius is at least four times the outside diameter of the fender.

W fender

Extruded Fender

Extruded lengths vary dependant on handling and transport criteria. Extruded fenders are normally used as side fendering on tugs, supply vessels and pilot boats. They are mainly used for tugs, barges, work-boats and barriers that need a high degree of protection from contact damage with other vessels and dockside, absorbing all the kinetic energy.
